I’m aware of that now actually. (Having seen it now.) Admittedly it was pretty cool in the movie.

No, I just don’t like the recent seasons.

Ironically, the Season 1 & 2 days also had rather cheesy/goofy toys/merch’ to. Let’s not forget Applejack’s pink truck (like AJ would really have a pink truck) with the cardboard cut-out of Twilight Sparkle in the back, and such.
…Though, personally I feel they should’ve adapted THAT one into the show. :P
Also, this DJ car isn’t as bad as stuff like “Baby Pinkie Pie learns to walk” toy from the earlier seasons. (Why would a pony need to learn to walk like a human?)
Off to the better days of season 2 gets in time machine

If the movie features a car with a gigantic pair of glasses for its windshield, that’ll be enough to get me to watch.
Think all this DJ merch’ means she’ll have a bigger role in the new “Rainbow Rocks” movie? (Also, not sure how this is a “spoiler,” this car probably won’t even appear in the movie. We still have yet to see Applejack’s truck.)
They’re lightyears ahead of the ones they were using up to last year.
