I agree.  
Rapacity, money and jealousy are actually really the only three reasons why (retarded) people kill each other…  
In everyday life though, you can notice that humans are quite peaceful animals and personally, I don’t know anyone in person who would support hate or war.  
I’m not saying humanity doesn’t suck because a huge part of it does (very much even, for that matter), but when you stop reading the newspaper and when you sell your tv, you almost feel like living in a pacifistic society (even if you know that this isn’t the case at all) =)

Who’s says there is? Whilst both are hard to quantify, a rough way could be to compare the number of people who are in relationships (though that would include people in loveless relationships, but, as I said, I’m only doing this roughly) with the number of people who do violent stuff (I know you can hate without necessarily having to commit violent acts, and possibly vis-versa, but again, roughly), and I think, whilst the number of people in the second group is indeed very high (especially if you include war zones and so on), I think the first group would be bigger (though I have no figures for this). So on that basis you could claim that there more love in the world than there is hate.
