OP’s description indeed had me wonder. The moment the whole fight started, Twi’s wings looked bigger and sharper, making her look more threatening and imposing. Seems to fit the whole setting.

What was Tirek even doing here, anyways? She could have just deathbeamlasered him in the back from where she was being held. Probably wouldn’t have been done much, but sounds a lot more useful than “hug the pony while flying really fast”.
