Despite being Spanish, I don’t root for any particular country. This WC I don’t see Spain as a fav, just as I do with the other European teams. It’s quite hard to European teams to adapt to the American climatology. And there’s the sheer pressure to present themselves as title holders. Besides, the key players of the team, like Xavi (you have to see him with Barcelona…) are starting to show their age.
