I think I need to learn something.
That series is just too awesome. The short, self-contained arcs, silly-but-not-totally-OOC characterization, and witty dialogue make it a great read. And the bold, expressive colouring makes me wish I could buy a print copy.

I don’t know, Karzahnii’s Tales from Ponyville was pretty good too. I hope he will continue it in the future.
Hey Engt.
Well, they’ve already destroyed one thing I like, and started going after something I’m directly involved in. So I think I’ve got a right to be a little upset, yeah?
Here’s what I do: don’t give a crap about other’s outstanding opinions on stuff until it begins to actually affect you. Getting worked up because someone expressed an opinion that you personally disagree some time in the past where it really doesn’t matter to you is pretty much the whole reason why everyone hates SJWs, so I hope you’d not lower yourselves to their level of pettiness.
No, but the colours seem deliberately engineered to draw attention to the damn nostrils… Seriously, those things looked a lot less intrusive poking up into their eyes when they were in black and white.
And personally, I find it hard to enjoy art made by someone who hates me, my friends, my community, and the whole concept of “minding their own damn business”.
Wherever did you get that idea? And even if its true, how does this affect the comic any? Are the colors deliberately engineered to turn you into a social justice windmill crusader or something?
In the Repairing Things industry it’s called “fix it right or fix it twice”– you can spend a little more on quality now or a lot more doing it all over again later– but I like The Vimes Theory Of Boots. A rich man can afford expensive boots that last a long time, but a poor man can only afford cheap boots that wear out quickly… and ends up spending more on boots in the long run.
Probably much less really - I vaguely recall there being a show semi-documentary series where children were ‘put in charge’ of various real life jobs. Things went bad very quickly because most notably children have very little idea of the concept of long term consequences.
…
Then again, half the adults in business don’t really grasp that either - especially the ones responsible for financing things (seriously, of all the treasurer types i’ve dealt with in the past not one has grasped the concept of ‘not paying a bit more now will cost us a crap ton more in the future’).
The answer, canonically, is “About two weeks”.
As an 18 year old, I’m appalled at the sheer ignorance of how the world worked at age 8 and wondered how quickly the world would crumble if those 8-year old policies were put into place.
Yeah, noone seems to go against Mayor Mare.
Goddess-imparted titles are neat like that, I guess.
The crystal they used probably has everyone brainwashed into being unable to go against them.
I’m thinking it’s like that Twilight Zone episode and all the dissenters get sent to “the corn field”.
On the other… does ponyville have /no-one/ capable of sitting down and telling her why this is bad?
