That too, but apparently that little trick is beyond most lottery winners.
Of course to be fair if I won 20-30 million bucks I might be whooping it up a little myself.

That’s assuming you don’t get kidnapped or robbed, which has also happened to lottery winners according to tales I’ve heard.
So I guess the aesop is that it’s best to stay poor and miserable?

Probably but everybody in that crowd would know that she just won a huge sum of money. That’s usually bad. A friend of mine’s parents work at the national lottery and I’ve heard some crazy stuff about people who won the lottery and told others about it. They usually end up with hundreds of people asking for donations and the like. One couple in particular had to move away because people were stalking them.
Don’t you need some form of ID to receive the money?
