Some “sexy” pics of Derpy are good for a laugh, because if you put “derp” eyes on anything it automatically becomes a source of lulz.
 

 
The harder an artist tries to give Derpy sex appeal, the farther away she gets from being attractive, because she is not supposed to look attractive– she’s supposed to look funny. I mean, imagine if there was a pony who was always farting– there’s no way to make farting sexy, and if you try you’ll only end up make it funnier.
 
Derpy is and always will be a joke character, and her voice in The Last Roundup should have been enough to drive home that fact home. The times when I find myself liking Derpy the least are the times when people try to make me take her seriously. She’s a novelty for us to laugh at, and nothing more.
