Notice how the border of the curtain (1) is not-transparent. This means that at (2), Luna’s tail must be in front of the curtain (remember that her tail is semi-transparent). However, judging by where she’s lying on the bed (3, also see big image, looks like in the middle of the bed), I’d say her tail would have to be behind that curtain.

Moonbutt is blatantly by kp-shadowsquirrel, but do not know who the vectorer for her is (and that’s irking me a lot).
Luna’s tail looks a little off color where you say it’s over the curtain, are you sure the artist didn’t layer it right?
My guess is the other two are just some vectors pasted on top of it. Note the on top part, because if you look closely at Luna’s tail, I’d say it was supposed to go behind the curtain thingy, just like the pillow does.
If so, whoever made this could have done a better job because grievousfan has both a PSD and an SVG for download, and I wouldn’t be surprised if those are layered.
