My Little Pony: Friendship is Awkwaaaaaaard…
No I can’t say the idea behind this comic was mine, that distinction goes to :iconponycleverblue: , who, whilst talking to me the other night, had an absolutely fantastic idea when we somehow got onto the subject of hunting in order to control animal populations. His idea was so fantastic that I decided to put it into comic form!
I suppose the moral of this story is that Fluttershy has learnt a valuable lesson if she didn’t know it already, the gun has only one purpose, to kill, to kill animals, and to kill other people…
The rifle that Applejack is using is an Accuracy International AS50, the standard issue high velocity rifle of the British Army. When I was back in the Royal Navy I had the privileged to use one of these weapons on an Army firing range, and you’d be surprised that for such a bulky looking weapon, it’s actually really very light compared to some sniper rifles. But this lightness doesn’t take away from the power and accuracy! :D
So :iconponycleverblue: , I hope this comic is to your satisfaction! :D

You don’t kill them to eat them
You kill them because killing things that are smaller than you gives you power!
What comment?
Good thing we have so many rural areas here in Germany. Over here they just sit on their fields pluck grain-stumps and that way help our farmers. Or do you expect me to hate on them for living? I’d also snarl at someone who gets to close to me against my will.
Also they look majestic flying in their formations towards southern Europe. And return next year side by side with the cute little bee-eaters. Also they’re protected by law in Germany. Yay for our nature conservation authorities.
Why yes, I had more than enough encounters with them. They just hiss if you’re to close to them, it’s breeding season OR they want to protect their offspring.
Like every other bird.
Be glad you don’t have encounters with a Common Murre or some Black-legged Kittiwakes that often. They attack you if you do as much as come near to their territory. And they attack you all together.
I take it you don’t spend much time around Canadian Geese.
They carpet bomb shit, attack people that gets to close and congregate in towns and cities in massive numbers.
Asshole is very appropriate. Keep shootin AJ!
Oh God I laughed way to loud, now everyone knows I’m dicking around on my phone when I should be working XD
Ok well maybe she had her eggs somewhere nearby but they typically aren’t that territorial. Swans however will attack children, pregnant women, burn your crops, poison your water supply, kill you, rape you and then eat you (yes in that order).

You take that back, Canadian geese are charming. I see them all over my campus. They even cross the street only on the crosswalks and look both ways before doing so.
@Method Mane
Then you sir have never had an encounter with a swan.
Have you ever seen scientifically accurate Ducktails?
I don’t really see how birds could be assholes.
