I’d like to give my condolences to you. BUT why not proper OCs instead of canon possession? It deludes people, and leaves bad taste in the mouth after learning IRL connotations, regardless who is and what happened to commissioner. Better leave canon fictional characters independent of any IRL people.

Who cares if someone ships this? It’s their headcanon and they’re not forcing it onto anyone. I happen to know the couple that created this shipping and they keep it to themselves and amongst their friends that they roleplay with. The woman who plays Princess Cadance happens to be a very sweet and caring person and her Discord cares very dearly for her. In fact, their pairing came about by accident. The two began to role play on Gaia Online together, in the My Little Pony subforum. They started to speak outside of character and began dating one another, which means they also didn’t change their roles in the role play. And, frankly, why should they have had to? They aren’t harming anyone nor do they shove it onto other people. If you have something to say, go say it to either of them. Their usernames are Disqord and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza.

Forced loyalty only makes things worse in the long run, at least I think so. They’ll eventually start looking at other women/men and want to be with them so it’s best to have it so that that’s not a problem.
 
But, you can believe what you want to and I won’t try to change you.
