I don’t think there is much to say about this. It’s how I feel about most dark skin versions.

(Spoilers, zebras are actually white with black stripes.)
Use exclamations points, buddy.
i don’t know man. i can dig it. a white zecora is bretty cool
I don’t think you quite understand what the Dunning-Kruger Effect is. Which, ironically, makes you a poster child for it. (I’ll admit I had to look it up to prove you wrong)
PS - Zecora looks weird as a cracker. Even weirder than Black Mane 6.
Seriously?
I gotta kvell, that meshuggeneh actually makes quite a shayna maidel.
@Background Pony
I suspect part of the reason for the popularity of African Twilight is that it runs directly counter to many of the popular negative stereotypes of black people. That’s why, while it’s pretty cliche now, it doesn’t bother me.
I thought Asian/Indian Twilight was fairly common, more so than black Twilight.
She’s rocks that kippah like no other.
Well, he kinda has a point, as I don’t mind having some diversity, but when some force it to the point where none of the characters look white, or go overboard with the diversity then it can be kinda odd.
I know race doesn’t define your personality, but people should be able to draw the Mane 6 however they see fit. (Even if they’re drawn white.) But if they make a character say… black, just to pander, be rebelious, or be politically-correct, then that’s the wrong reasons to make them like that.
Like I see alot of pics of Twilight Sparkle drawn black, which seems to be done usually to spite people who don’t like her drawn that way. (I’ve seen artists actually act like that’s the main reason they did that, and be all, “Haha! I made her black! Take that racicts! U mad?!” Which seems a bit racist in itself.)
Plus, some artists are getting to cliche’ with making the ponies certain races/creeds.
I have to admit Twilight being drawn black/African-American is getting a bit overdone. Nothing against it mind you, but I don’t see anyone making her Indian, or Asian, or something, as well.
It’s like some people think “black & white” are the only races.
I’m guessing that Derpy’s blond mane/hair might have something to do with it, though I’d like for someone to try to make it work somehow. I just enjoy seeing different interpretations, like this one.
I’m puerto rican. My username came from me once describing Heracles (the hero of greek myth) as being Superman, the Hulk, and Jesus Christ rolled into one.
@Muffinshire
Yep, that kettle sure is black, right?
Dianetics was banned in Equestria after the Cruise Revolt. Celestia doesn’t talk about it. It wasn’t pretty.
You forgot half-kryptonian
Your name is Jesus, so I assume you’re Latin American? You’re half Caucasian, half Aztec.
Also, where’s the scientologist ponies? You’re telling me with all the books in Twilight’s library that there isn’t ONE copy of Dianetics?
