I agree that there’s a possibility of a god existing. It’s about equal with that of an actual portal from our world to Equestria existing.
@HamburgerTime
Atheist is essentially not supporting any religion, or believing in any god. If some of them weren’t so pushy and violent about it, it wouldn’t be anything more than that.
@Deadpan
I choose not to define my “religious preferences” at all. In fact, when people DO try to put a label on what I believe, it pisses me off. I am me, not Catholic, Atheist, Agnostic, Ignostic, Deist, Satanist, or Protestant. I believe whateverthefuck.
Yeah, religion hasn’t always been the most magnificent thing in my past… And yes, there are more things to be said about relgion, on my side. That’s what ultimately re-enforced me becoming ingnostic[ essentially giving up religion, as opposed to agnostic, which is being unsure what religion you ultimately will choose, or a feeling that no one religion has all the answers]…
@Deadpan
Probably. I grew up Catholic, most Mexicans are Catholic, and Catholics are pretty crazy about that shit. One of my mom’s church friends actually burned a Harry Potter book her daughter brought home because it was about “witchcraft” and “black magic”.
Yes… And by the way, my part of the argument wasn’t nearly as extreme as theirs, which was just short of fist fighting… I was just trying to tell them that there was no need to let it get between them.
what’s the difference between getting disowned from the apple family and never contacting any of the apple family? sounds like granny is a few apples short of a full barrel to me.
I’m reminded of middle school, again. During it, two of my friends were constantly fighting, because one family accused the other friend’s family of witchcraft. I tried to argue that there was no need for the two to fight over something so stupid, but by the end of middle school, one friend moved away and the other started hanging out with other people, wanting less to do with me…
Anything is possible.

That’s the thing. I MIGHT believe in a god. So I just don’t like to define my beliefs.

Good for you. I should do that more, since I only act like that during simple conversations…

Perhaps. Never asked.
Okay. Very religious families, right?
I don’t get it, either… [Also, it is just an american thing. The families involved were both mexican. So,general a North American thing, I guess…]
But.. but… Witchcraft?
Yes… And by the way, my part of the argument wasn’t nearly as extreme as theirs, which was just short of fist fighting… I was just trying to tell them that there was no need to let it get between them.
Was that where the “argument” took place?
Sadly, half, though it was where I was born and raised…
. . . .
That’s a really weird thing to argue about. Are you American?
