I wrote that 7 months ago. Clefairy wasn’t a Fairy-type then.

I know this reply is extremely late, but guess what? Ralts, Kirlia, and Gardevoir are all now Fairy-type Pokémon.
Manaphy has no gender, and it cannot breed with anything outside Dittos.
Like wasn’t resistant to dragon types before?
Clearly you don’t play Pokemon competitively. Manaphy is ridiculously strong with a move that gives it +3 Special Attack, immunity to status in Rain (which can be summoned by Politoed’s Drizzle ability), and excellent stat distribution. The last thing I want to see is it getting extra resistances.

Meh, I don’t really care much for stat boosters.
I just aim to take down my opponent as fast as possible.
The fact that Manaphy can know a good deal of stat boosters, plus Heart Swap, makes for an excellent tag team supporter, or a troll for your opponent. Plus, Manaphy can really take a hit from an electric attack.
Being in the Fairy Egg Group doesn’t really mean anything.
Pikachu is in the Fairy group, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to be an Electric-Fairy type.
Also, the Gardevoir line isn’t in the Fairy group and yet they are going to be Psychic-Fairy types.
That says nothing about how good it is.
If anything, it says how bad you are.
