Description
In my rewritten au ( the best name I could come up with ) Twilight was a professor at Celestia’s Academy. Her main studies revolved around not only the history but mythology surrounding Equestria. Despite liking to remain logical, Twilight wholeheartedly believes in these myths and legends. One of these being the mare in the moon, otherwise known as Nightmare Moon.
Twilight sent countless letters to Celestia, warning her of the impending return of the Nightmare Moon. Eventually Celestia grew tired of the pestering and ordered a meeting with Twilight where she told her to supervise the upcoming Summer Sun celebration. Celestia had hoped it would distract Twilight but she did underestimate the mare.
An enraged Twilight and tired Spike made their way to Ponyville, the location where the celebration was to be hosted for that year. She’d be housed at the local library. Needless to say the place had seen better days. Most of the books were outdated and some nearly rotten. The equipment, such as tables, weren’t in the best state and were found to be barely usable for Twilight.
After Nightmare Moon’s defeat and Luna’s rescue, Twilight was told to remain in Ponyville for studies surrounding the history of friendship. With this she was also granted a restoration of the library.
The first thing Twilight wanted was a suitable desk.
