Invisifat

To be fair, surviving that without becoming depressed in the middle of it and trying to kill oneself isn’t something a lot of folks can do.
Background Pony #B416
Because it tries to establish conflict without actually involving Cadence doing or risking anything other than simply being there.

Done. See, I actually like Cadence and that was easy to do.

Jeez, when did this thread become a flamewar between Chaos15 & Mayojar77?

I… What? Canterlot Wedding showed Luna flying in from outside of Canterlot. Combined with her lack of appearances in the city, the simplest explanation is that she doesn’t live in Canterlot.

You’re still gettin’ your tropes wrong. Celestia has never been written out of the show, and she never will be. Absent from episodes, yes, but never written out. Otherwise you might as well add “Put on a Bus” to every single character on this show and then it just gets silly.

Twilight didn’t seem particularly worried that Trixie would start getting homicidal, what with her training with Zecora and all. And since we’re going with grimdark speculation, the instant Trixie starts killing ponies is the instant that she needs to sleep with one eye open. There’s only so much oppression and tyranny a populace can take before they get violent in defense.

It worked for Panty and Stocking. And TVTropes still uses that Trope when Stocking got sent to heaven and came back on the same episode. Blame them.

That if Trixie didn’t kill the others by then. She was corrupted to the point of torturing when Twilight cam back to fight her. And that was in just a day!

I can’t take you seriously when you’re misusing tropes.

The Bus can’t come back during the episode they leave on it.

And they’ve walked to Canterlot before. It could take less than half a day to get there so they’d likely be able to get there, find the Elements, hail a flying chariot, sneak into Ponyville and Zap Trixie in her sleep.

“The Bus Came Back”
It is a trope.

Yeah but were the hell is Luna? And how long will it take for Twilight to get to Canterlot? Does Luna lives in Canterlot? How corrupted and powerful would Trixie be by the time Twilight got back? In the episode she was at the point of using spell to make ponies writhe in agony and the amulet was just going to make her worst.

Face it you are ignoring basic facts.

@Sjogre
how would Luna have not known anything was wrong during the reception if her home wasn’t in Canterlot? She probably has a loft downtown where she keeps her ridiculously adorable pillows.

@chaos15
Celestia wasn’t written out of the show. ‘Put On A Bus’ refers to when there’s no guarantee that they’ll be back.

And if Luna has the time to sleep all day, then she definitely has the time to walk down to the vault and give Twilight the Elements.

Face it. Your arguments are self-defeating.
Magnetmod

@Mayojar77
A character can comeback from the bus. This is called “The Bus Came Back”. I know my tropes.

Luna is whole different thing. We have to assume she sleeping most of the time apparently. That or she was with Celestia during the Saddle Arabia thing….. but then why wasn’t she on the show?

@chaos15
Well, then, why not consult with Luna, presumably she has access to the vault.
Also, you used the term in the wrong context. ‘Put On A Bus’ refers to when a character gets written out of the show. 2/10, trope harder.

2- But she didn’t. That’s what matter.
3- The elements were protected by a door that only Celestia could open. I doubt that she didn’t buff the security after Discord stoled them the first time.
