Cordelia and Dís - A pony and a dragon, their origins are unknown…?
 
Big Cheer - Rare Apple’s brother. Teaches in Ponyvile.
 
Blueburn - Rare Apple’s cousin.
 
Diamond Dragons - Teenage dragons who Spiked Armor stands up to when they try to take advantage of Rare Apple.
 
Soarinfire - Pink Dash’s idol.
 
Dare-Do-Well - A comic book character.
 
Tammy - Pink Dash’s lizard pet.
 
Winescence - Rare Apple’s poodle.
 
Angeline - Shylight’s and Spiked Armor’s pet. (Flying squirrel?)
 
Philiste - Princess Lunalesita’s owl.
 
Fickle - (Flim Flam Brothers + Trixie) A con artist trying to take Rare Apple’s business, confronted by Shylight.
 
Snaps (Sinps + Snails) - A stupid colt.
 
Wilda (Iron Will + Filda) - Pink Dash’s friend,  
tries to “thoughen up” Shylight.

That’s interesting, Vree.  
Although this type of fusion doesn’t fuse bodies, only personalities, feelings, auras and souls, giving that one person the other one’s characteristics and strenght.

^Following on that thought, the characters would be:
 
Lunalestia - The alicorn that controls the sun and the moon. Retunrs from exile in the first episode and agrees to be Shylight’s mentor.
 
Shylight Sparkle - (Fluttershy + Twilight Sparkle) A shy pony whose only friends are books and animals. Moves to ponyville and makes two good friends.
 
Pink Dash - A hyperactive pegasus.
 
Rare Apple - A responsible earth pony. Returns from Manehattan to help with her family’s business.
 
Belle Apple - Rare Apple’s sister, on a quest to get her cutie mark.
 
Buckaroo - (Twist + Scootaloo) A tomboyish pegasus with a list, she already has her cutie mark but still sticks with her friend Belle Apple in her escapades to find hers.
 
Silver Tiara - Belle Apple’s nemesis.
 
Spiked Armor - Shylight’s twin brother. Has a crush on Rare Apple before marrying Chrisence.
 
Chrisence - Redeemed queen of the crystalings, a mysterious empire that was sealed away a thousand years ago for attacking Equestria. After Shylight and Spiked Armor cure her of her madness, she marries him.

Haha, you know what we should do? An “amalgam” pony universe.
 
Every character is mysteriously fused with another pony, resulting in a ponyverse that is the same, but with characters that share the traits of two ponies.
 
Watched over by Celesluna, the wise alicorn ruler who just returned from her self-imposed thousand-year exile.
 
The only non-fused character would be Discord (the one also probably responsible for the fusion mess) who would be represented by two characters, a horse and a dragon.

Twilight, that is a lousy disguise.
