In practice the point of this effort actually was to answer a question about resolution. The think is that the Fluttershy is actually a full scale drawing in and of herself. You can actually see this in the full view.

One of these days I may consider drawing Jim and Fluttershy to scale rather than scaling the Fluttershy to the brushable doll’s size.

In all I’d say that this project had mixed results. I liked the high availability of resolution so that I stop hitting the accuracy boundaries of my pixels. If anything what I’ve learned is that 2048^2 isn’t big enough. 4096 is probably the better choice so that I can get some natural anti-aliasing and better control of the taper of my lines.
