Description

Why the Long Face? is my most popular picture on DeviantART. It was posted January 24, 2012. It has 483 favorites, 3,736 views, and 65 comments.
I’m still really proud of it. It was done on paper and covered the entire sheet before I scanned it to color. It was part of a phase that my style was VERY different and I have never been able to gain it back since I fell out of it.
But I’m happy I got some good stuff out of it! I don’t look back at it all and say “Eww, what was wrong with me…?” I actually feel like all of my art now is subpar when comparing to things from that period of time.
