The Big Crown Thingy is likely back with the other elements. Stuff like this annoys me too, usually.
Like on Doctor Who when the Doctor doesn’t close the Tardis’ door but then in the next scene it is closed - “who closed it??”
I would just chalk that up to them forgetting about it. The episode had a couple of noticable animation errors.
I think that’s what the OP is trying to express.
