What I meant is the Detective Vision in Asylum has different colors and filters that make it feel like a multipurpose tool. It also tracks more things than just basic stuff like blood or fingerprints, breath traces, tobacco, and stuff. Deep Tissue Scanner is pretty cool though. That’s like a new feature Bruce built in. If only we had more opportunity to track things more than blood or DNA traces (though there is a moment where you track tire tracks but that’s done by the Batmobile.) There is also that crime scene reconstructing function from Origins. That’s pretty fun too.
In Arkham Knight, it allowed you to track blood trails, fingerprints, and there’s also the Deep Tissue Scanner for Pyg’s victims.
I remember Arkham Asylum being the only game that gives you different mode to track different substances. I wish they brought that back in at least one other game.
