Element: Confusion

Backstory:

After getting disowned by Daring Do as a friend, she flew away feeling like a total mule. While flying, however, she got the feeling someone (or something) was stalking her. When she looked back, she saw a bug bear! She tried to speed up, but the bug bear was still able to catch up somehow and scratch her back, sending her plummeting into the Everfree forest. When she tried to get back up, she realized she couldn’t because one of her legs were broken. And to her horror, the bug bear caught up to her again. Now it was hovering over her like a drone. Then the worst happened: it mauled her and tore her limb from limb. She ended up dying right then and there.

It didn’t last long, though. When she regained consciousness, she found herself somewhere else, in an entirely different location: it was a laboratory of some kind, and she was laying on an operating table. Thankful to be alive, she shot up and started cheering, but stopped immediately when she heard her voice: it had gotten deeper and less raspy! She was about to start questioning why she sounded like this when a short stallion with glasses and a bloody lab coat entered the room. He explained everything to her, from finding her in the woods to the procedure of putting her back together like Mr. Potato Head. This all confused Rainbow Dash, but when he pointed to her chest, she freaked out: her heart was replaced with a Rubik’s Cube! But how is she still alive?! Not only that, but he also replaced a section of her torso with a set of alphabetical dials, like on a cryptic lock. She was already pissed off at him for changing her voice, but turning her into a living puzzle crossed the line. So before he could explain how it worked, she took a scalpel and slit his throat, killing him in his own laboratory. Then she flew out the window and tried to search for her friends.
