I agree, and is why I roll my eyes whenever people try to ascribe g4 ‘counterpart’ traits, personalities, and potential goals or objectives to g5 characters. Sunny may not want to be a princess, or Zipp may only want the Wonderbolts back in a more academic/educational sense rather than in a competitive or spectacle sense, for example.
Maybe we should learn to break stereotypes, like how this series always does with its characters.
“She can’t do that! She’s meant to be an expy of Rarity, not Rainbow Dash! If anything, it should be Zipp encouraging her, since she’s the Rainbow Dash expy!” - fans who try to pigeonhole g5 characters into their g4 ‘counterparts’.
