Now that you mention it, I think I have seen it with some bullied artists (bullied for their strange tastes or below-par stories/art).

You see that in some roleplay characters, usually furry. It’s usually used for people who can dismiss anyone they don’t like as a jerk.

If someone writes “Hates: dumb people” into their profile, I immediately know that person will be hardly worth paying attention to.
 
Interestingly, hardly anyone ever writes “Hates:jerks”, which I could much more understand.
