The infamous Mulp picture has STILL not been confirmed legit. Clearly they knew some of the details, but the image itself still has zero verification. The only official image is on a stock background.
Even if it is legit, that STILL doesn’t confirm that school is in any way involved, if it was just an early piece of pitch/concept art.
Damn yes. I remember I judged Transformers animated almost entirely on the odd designs. I felt so bad for that. Animated is what made me a huge transfan.
DHX also makes Pound Puppies and Littlest Pet Shop, I believe. There is a lot of work being done on a bunch of series at any given time.
In a way, I’d almost prefer people have an initial negative reaction than be too hopeful. If one is not expecting much, the end result will either meet expectations (worst case scenario), or be better than expected. :)
No. DHX Vancouver only ever makes half of the episodes in a season so they have staff that has time to work on all of their shows anyway.
So it’s not going to affect MLP’s production?
DHX Vancouver’s outsourced animation company is making it, the people that usually make half of the episodes in a 26 episode season.
okay, sheesh, for a second there i was goin’ crazy.
Both fall under the DHX Media umbrella. In fact, a lot of the cast for FiM comes from Johnny Test.
And no, that’s a different division of DHX. Johny Test was made by a division called Cookie Jar. MLP was made by DHX Vancouver aka Studio B.
So DHX is not making it? I would really hate it if they have to split their time between MLP and EG.

You realize the same studio that made Johnny Test made FiM, right?
Top Draw is making it. We don’t know about the vocal talent, but I think someone should ask them since it was officially announced.
