i don’t know, sounds a bit contrived.
And a bit bloated, characterwise.
Nevermind i couldn’t imagine a threat that big, given the enemies encountered thus far. Like, what could they come up with that’s any more existential and still believably fightable with the ‘Solve Everything’ beam at max capacity?
I couldn’t buy the comic since a google play update no longer allows easy change of countries. So I have to wait for it to come and that will take long. If you want my speculation, maybe said threat is too powerful for even 3 groups of elements, so there’s more groups. The more there are, the better the firepower right?
Oh? You mean that one-player mini game? I know that it mostly allows one pony, but how can four ponies fit in one cart?

The other one was with cats but not sure about the 4th one.
It is very much implied that. We have the six friends (Zecora + pals), the six Diamond Doggettes here, Capper + his friends from the next arc, and I forget what the fourth group was (parrots? can’t remember off top of head)
Whether that ties back to restoring the Equestria’s version of the tree or not, or if this it there “there’s always a lighthouse, there’s always a girl” copy-pasta, I dunno.
So is every season 10 stories going to play out the same way with the group meeting six locals who represent the elements of harmony and then stumbling upon the local branch (heh) of the Tree of Harmony?
May sound awesome on paper but I’m still hoping for something a bit more creative.
Keeping in mind that COVID pushed several issues back, this could be a way to “catch up” on a schedule they had planned for the S10 series.
I get you, but I kinda like it. Means that not every adventure is forces into a longer then needed multi issue arc. That said hopefully it won’t make it feel rushed either
