As Phil noted, I treat “Pony” as specifically earth pony. I do use quite a few effects that care about Ponies, Pegasi and Unicorns collectively, much like how original Innistrad treated Vampires, Werewolves, and Zombies as the “monster” races
FanOfMostEverything is pretty self-consistent; Pony tribal within his cards are limited to 5 green Apple family specific cards and one anti-tribal MLP take on Magic’s earthquake thematic. Even though this is an Applejack episode, GlimGlam isn’t particularly trying to connect to the earth in this moment.
