Description
Brutal interstellar warfare created the need for a new type of pony. Ponies that did not shy away from battle. Ponies that would not and, in fact, could not question any order. Ponies that could take more abuse than regular earth ponies. Ponies that could sire and rear multitudes of reinforcements on the battlefield. Ponies that would need minimal training. The results were considered by many to be abominations that had no right to exist in this world.
Eventually, the CESAF Administrators decided to shut down the project and to purge all of these creatures. Due to public outcry, the purges were stopped and instead all were rounded up and hidden on an uninhabited world that (at least, by manufacturer’s default) appeared on no public star maps.
Additional information:
Due to the density of the enhanced bone structure, and super-muscles these soldiers can’t swim and, without breathing gear, will drown if ordered to walk into water that comes up to above their [INFORMATION REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASONS].
Colder temperatures will cause these soldiers to grow unnaturally long manes and fur. This is a survival tactic built into their genome. Attempts to shave said “fluff” is an exercise in futility, as the hair will grow back almost instantly.
“I have discovered a strange behavioral tick that seems to inflict all the genome soldiers. This tick makes it ill-advisable to make, eat or present noodles near any of them. Doing so will cause them to attempt to either trample or maul to devour said food item. I am currently trying to discover why this is; I assume it has to do with the arcane-genetic memories their manufacturer bestowed upon them. In some ways, this could be a positive development; we could attempt to experiment with ramen as a battlefield motivator.”
