Cupid gazes into the mirror pool, the cool cave air and echoing sounds of droplets hitting water were heavenly, oh, but nothing could ever beat staring at that reflection.
 
“What a shame,” he laments, “that in all the world there cannot never be more than just one me.”
 
He peers over the lip of the pond, smiling he quips,
 
“Oh, but what would the world do but feud over which of us two was the most gorgeous?”
 
 
I’ve always liked the mirror pond in the series, it’s been mentioned in every season after it’s first discovery in ‘Too Many Pinkie Pies’ waaay back in season three. Not to mention the colors and design, the older backgrounds were able to do alot even with limited colors and simple gradients. It’s probably my favorite magical object, but I also needed an excuse to draw Cupid staring at himself. More on that later💘
