“Why?” Eclipse whined, her lower lip quivering.
Flurry smirked, her green eyes glistening. “Because I’m hungry.”
Blood dibbled down from Eclipse’s forehead as she whimpered, trying her best to make herself look small. Sickly green magical energy seeped from Flurry Heart’s horn that slowly forming into a ghostly clawed hand. Eclipse was shaking. She knew she couldn’t defend herself, she knew her parents wouldn’t be back for hours, days even. There was no hope. As Eclipse closed her eye and began to accept her fate, a bright blast of crystal blue energy struck Flurry’s side, knocking her into the air an onto the floor. Eclipse was shocked. She looked to where the magical energy came from and spotted a crystal guard standing tall and proud down the hallway. The guard raced towards Eclipse.
“Are you okay princess?” The stallion asked Eclipse, placing a armor clad hoof on her shoulder.
“Yah!” She exclaimed excitedly, smiling through her tears.
“You don’t have to worry, more guards are coming. It seems our suspicions were true.” He looked to the un-moving body on the floor, it’s mouth twisted in a scowl, exposing it’s sharp black teeth. He looked to Eclipse. “That wasn’t Flurry Heart.”
