Well, even if it trying to reach out to the OP again not work, it seemed like a better approach than just deleting the image again. I’m actually a member of the clergy, so I have some sympathy for these kinds of discussions. And it seems certainly much more apropos the franchise than some of the image macros that get posted here.
 
But, in all honesty, it doesn’t seem that OP is the one who suffers the most when these get deleted, it’s usually the people who were engaging in the conversations who find themselves cut off from a discussion they were enjoying. So it would be really nice if they would instead create a forum thread for this, because then that would be something that we could host indefinitely.
 
And, as for the pony community, the numbers that we’re seeing are apparently different than what you are seeing. We’re actually seeing an upward trend in new users and visitors to the site. Maybe it’s just a blip due to everyone being locked in their houses temporarily, but hopefully it will continue to grow, and I know that most of us are really looking forward to the next generation of ponies :)
 
So if you still like ponies in 5 or ten years, please check us out again :)
 
And if you are interested in this subject, please do consider creating a “Redemption Discussion” thread in the General Discussion forum. I would be very happy to direct people there if they get into off-topic redemption discussions on fan artist’s works. Especially with the finale of the series, that’s a subject that is much on some people’s minds.
 
But, if you want to use this image, it would be best to host it on someplace like Imgur or a personal server - there’s no guarantee that this image might not end up deleted if it shows up in an audit.

Sorry, I didn’t see it in that perspective. Way to lay it down thought, I admire that You have clearly been around the block more then a few times. My perspecive was that you were coming in here to harass us because people get bothered by by religious stuff. I wish you happiness and good fortune. The pony community is dwindling, maybe our paths will cross again some day.

But we could delete this image for Rule #3 - Obligatory Pony without hesitation, and then this whole thread would be gone forever.
 
The uploader literally is a duck because they keep uploading image macros like this; exploitable memes, obligatory ponies, mouthpieces … and we keep telling them if they want to have discussions like this they should use the forums. In the forums this would be 100% ok and not breaking any rules and if others participated in the thread we wouldn’t even delete it if they asked us to.
 
But for some reason they keep uploading mouthpiece images like this, even though what they want is something in the forums.

I am a writer, and i was just trying to wrap my head around this, everything we discuss pertained the the image.  
I would not have even noticed a discussion thread for this post; because i am not interested.  
IF you read the comments, you can see that this is not a discussion board.We were actually discussing what the artist was portraying in this picture. I share my opinion and it was incorrect.

Come to think of it, on the subject of repentance, I find the word “reach” an odd choice of verb. At least, based on my understanding of the verb.

No problem, man. I’m glad we can agree that love is the most important thing. I don’t blame you for getting the wrong impressions of Christianity, because people have been distorting The Bible for hundreds of years, using it as a tool to scare people. I believe in what the early Christians taught, not what a lot of people preach nowadays.
 
And I believe Buddhism also can provide great insight into our relationship with the divine, as can many other traditions. My favorite non-Christian religion is Taoism, but Buddha had a lot of great teachings too. I believe in examining as many of the great religions as possible and finding the common ground in them. God is infinite, so I do believe he expresses himself in many different ways, but Christianity is what I was raised into, so it’s how I connect to him. I think any tradition that makes you more loving draws you closer to what truly matters. Much love to you, friend! :)

So if i understand this quote correctly, God doesn’t “fulfill his promise”, which is to accept us back into his kingdom of love, out of spite or frustration towards humanity. He is being patient and waiting for as many people as possible to reach repentance.When you reach repentance God will accept you, and make you more like him; In the process God will teach you to love your fellowman.  
The picture is of Starlight loving her fellow pony. Starlight had a sinful past. Now that she has repented(when she chose not to destroy the scroll) God will lead her to a path into his Kingdom through love and learning.  
So it’s sort of like she accepted God into her life through repentance, and now God has made her more like him, which lead her to a path where she loves her fellow pony. She will also be accepted into Gods kingdom when the time comes.

I got the wrong impressions of Christianity, I was focused to much on their sins being forgiven. Forgiveness is completely hands off once you repent. The love god teaches humanity with can feel quite overwhelming. I never really realized it, but my love changes me in ways i cannot fully explain. It also appears thought my hole life my love has never grown weaker even has my body does.  
However, the universe had already hinted to me that all that matters in the afterlife is your love and happiness. Your relationships will matter. Maybe Christianity is correct and we lost the way, but I am not so sure. I am Buddhist BTW.

O no. I have to accept God to? It cant just be repentance then forgiving yourself. Why cant i just love my fellow man to embrace gods love? God will not make me like him unless i accept his love? IS part of forgiving your repentance accepting Jesus into your heart? Can you only forgive your repentance when you are free of sin? What if being sinfull is inescapable?

Yup, if you accept Jesus into your heart, the Holy Spirit will sanctify you and make you more and more like him every day. :)
 
The reason he’s waiting is so that as many of us as possible can get to God the easy way. Everyone will be saved eventually, but the people who commit great evil in this world have made a Hell for themselves that they’ll have to go through after they die or after Jesus returns. It’s entirely of their own creation, though. If they let go of their evil, the Hell they created will dissolve away.
 
This world became ran by Satan due to the human desire to be separate from God. Eventually everyone will realize that that was a mistake, but God is being merciful by giving us time to come to that realization on our own. He is being patient for us, so that we all may be saved and come to know him. Eventually, though, the evil of this world will be so great that he’ll have no choice but to come in and rescue all the oppressed people of the Earth.

So if i feel true repentance then God will accept me into his kingdom? I also have to forgive my own repentance and accept love into my heart? The only reason he is waiting is because we are not dead yet or the second coming of Jesus hasn’t happened yet or we have not experienced repentance. We send ourselves to the real world run by Satan because we have not learned how to accept gods true love?  
So this quite says his patience is so no one has to be left behind from Gods kingdom when we achieve true repentance?

No, the world isn’t just. The Bible tells us that the god of this world is Satan. He’s the reason for all the horrible things we see and all the evil people who are given Earthly rewards for their evil. But it’s not going to last much longer. When Jesus returns, he’ll make the world whole again and let us live with him forever in his restored Kingdom.
 
It may seem like he’s taken a long time, but as Peter tells us both in this verse and in the verses preceding, it only seems slow to us, but he’s benefiting us by waiting. As Peter said, 1000 years is like one day to God, so it really hasn’t even been two whole days since Jesus ascended into Heaven yet.
 
God doesn’t really punish anyone, we send ourselves to Hell, including Hell on Earth, when we refuse to be as loving as possible. The only thing you have to do to be accepted by God is to let go of your sin and allow yourself to be ultimate love. God lets us get closer and closer to him through the Holy Spirit. Those who do evil will pay the price of their own making in the world to come, but it will only be for a short time until they’re finally ready to love everybody unconditionally. It will not be a place of fire and brimstone, though, Hell is purely our own making and when we recognize that, we can experience Heaven on Earth.
 
Remember, God is love. So if you’re trying to be as loving as possible, you’re on your way to becoming one with God. :)

To say that god is to fulfill his promise is to say there is real karma or that the world is actually fair. My repentance is mostly internal. When you die, no one knows what will happen. But maybe if i am patient, god will show me the way to repentance as some kind of way of balancing things out by giving everyone a chance for forgiveness? How could i understand the true extent of what i should repent, in order to maintain my lifestyle children have to work in slavery. Should i repent that when its still true? Or maybe i should repent my wake of distraction and heart ache in a throw away and consume society. Or maybe i should repent the harm I inflict upon myself, so many days wasted; Until i just become a hollow shell of what i once was. Will i be punished if I choose to not believe in afterlife? IF there is no afterlife, then there are no consequences in believing in one. But isn’t it kind of selfish to say something bigger then us is out their waiting? Maybe people develop the idea of the afterlife to justify or rationalize a bleak existence.

I think you might be taking this fandom too far dude. As I said, I love fantasy novels as much as the next guy but this is a strange one to get this involved with. People have written much better. I’d recommend lord of the rings maybe. It has a deep lore which you seem to enjoy and it’s a lot more internally consistent, which gives you a much better opportunity to really disect it

It won’t be in the afterlife, it will be in the restored multiverse after Jesus returns to redeem all of creation. Heaven is still a really great place that followers of Christ go after they die, but it isn’t the 100% infinite perfection that’s coming, because only a few people are currently there. We can’t claim that things are 100% perfect there when they can see the horrors going on on Earth and in Sheol (the temporary afterlife for sinners that the misconceptions about Hell come from.)
 
The New Jerusalem will include 100% of everyone in the multiverse and will encompass both the spiritual world of Heaven together with all the physical universes restored into complete perfection! Twilight is most likely not in the Heaven that people currently go to if they die today, although you never know.

It’s not against you, it’s against your beliefs. Some beliefs deserve to be called out. I’m sorry if that upsets you
