Yep. They had a group of community members test it out, and they proceeded to break it in half. So they gotta iron out the glitches before they release it.
 
Smart of them to do that, really. Fighting gamers are so damn good at finding jank.

Here’s the thing Daring, my Steam launcher opens to a blank screen every time. Nothing to click, no menu, just the mouse cursor. I can’t do anything to fix this problem without uninstalling Steam.

In Big Picture mode, select the icon in the top right that looks like a power button, and then select “exit Big Picture mode”. I’ll make a screenshot later tonight if you’re having trouble.

It opens in Big Picture by default on my huge gaming laptop.

At this point I kinda refuse to believe it until it’s downloading on my pc.

No, 2 years ago was the Early Access release. This is the 1.0 release with Ch1 of Story Mode. They still have plenty more to work on and add to the game, but the 1.0 milestone and the core experience needed to be dealt with. It’s been a tough road but now it’s almost here.

They’d love to put it on consoles, but that’s not something you can do overnight. They want to get 1.0 out and work on some post-1.0 content (like the promised Linux and Mac ports) before they can consider jumping to consoles. It’s not likely to happen for a long time.

Yeah, though frankly that doesn’t mean much nowadays as like the G-rating in movies, the E-rating is basically disapearing, and everything is E-10 or over nowadays. Even games like “Super Mario Odyssey” are E-10.
