This is why I read the comment section.

I think you look flipping sexy
Haha that’s cute but
Furries as a community like:
Bronies like:
There is literally zero distinction except specificity
We’ve been through the discussion on anthropomorphism.
That’s like telling someone to choose between a Jacuzzi and a hot tub.
In both cases, the former is a subset of the latter.
That sounds a little like denial. We’re getting off topic, though, so lets stop.
nah. Wanting to || y a y || the || sexyfine || cartoon animal is normie-tier. Some of them are drawn to be appealing in that manner. You’re not a furry until you want to BE a cartoon animal yourself.
That’s where I draw the line. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.Spoilers: Basically any and all furry slang from the past two decades was and is used completely wrong.
In the 80s and 90s, “phenotype” referred to what kind of animal a furry was (fox, wolf, etc.). A phenotype is actually the subjective observed effect of a gene. The objective scientific notation of said gene’s makeup is the genotype.
“Feral” in furry culture refers to usually-sapient creatures that stand on four legs or otherwise physically resemble a non-furry animal. In reality “feral” refers to a formerly-domesticated species that has returned to wild behavior after humans have stopped caring for it.
“Medial ring” in furry / brony culture is the ring on a horse’s wahooga. In actual anatomy, “medial” refers to body parts that are aligned along the symmetrical center of the body, such as the navel, or along the symmetrical center of a limb or extremity, or are closer to that center compared to another body part, and is completely the wrong word for a feature that wraps around. The closest “professional” term for this is preputial ring, one of the terms for the roughly-equivalent human structure.
It doesn’t make them less human in other areas, which would make them Anthropomorphic.
One acceptable connotation of “Anthropomorphic” refers to animals given humanoid body shapes. This is the meaning of the slang abbreviation “anthro,” and is the one that furries use. MLP ponies don’t fit this one, hence why there’s a debate.
Edited
Technically, yes. ‘Anthropomorphic’ simply means that something not human is given human characteristics. No, she’s not standing on two legs, but she IS capable of speech, human thought, and apparently wearing clothes and using tools unlike a normal horse.
Very much.

Mentally, yes.
Implying.
She’s an antro?
Brony is a subset of furry
I choose both.
Bronies or furries. Choose one.
