The BBC TV series was an amalgam of material from the radio series, the first two books and various other adaptations. I really must listen to the radio version again - it’s got some great bits in it than never made it into other versions of the story.
I think there was a tv series when the radio thing aired.
He had two heads next to each other then, I think.
Well, Zaphod in the books is described as having two separate heads next to one another (I don’t remember exactly how it’s described in the original radio series). It’s only in the movie that he has two faces on one head (one of the bits of an otherwise disappointing movie that I thought was a clever and justified change).
But he could also look like the guy from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
