Named after her grandmother, Posey is the first born of Braeburn and Fluttershy. Growing up at Fluttershy’s sanctuary gave her a love of nature from a very young age. She loved helping her parents care for the animals and run the sanctuary. She proved to be especially talented with growing plants in the sanctuary garden for food for the animals; and a rather ambitious flower garden for the myriad of insects at the sanctuary. When she got her cutie mark in gardening, she would have been content to work at the sanctuary. However, Rarity’s daughter Kimono, who’s interior/exterior design business was starting to take off, needed some help and offered Posey a job. What started as occasional consultations on layouts of flowerbeds evolved into a very prosperous nursery business. Posey soon became a household name in horticultural circles as well as much of the food industry. -She has an appreciation for the simple things in life; stopping to smell the roses, a nice tea party with friends, or wrestling matches with the occasional grizzly bear. -Posey is a pretty patient and laid back individual. It takes a lot to get her mad. -When she does get mad, though, watch out. -Posey is built a lot like her father. She’s pretty muscular, but it’s leaner muscle so she hides it well. -She’s only a little shorter than Braeburn, making her taller than the average mare.
