On a note, I kinda wish they went with Gallus having wear Guard armor from Griffonstone, since Equestria now seems to harbor all kinds of creatures. Not saying the armor here doesn’t look nice, it’s just….it is stallion/mare armor, it would be more fitting for Gallus to wear armor of the Griffon Guard.

I’d have to agree with Magnus training Gallus, especially since it was shown that Magnus was given a position by Celestia as a drill sgt within the RG to train them better.

My headcanon, Flash Magnus actually the real one who trained Gallus to be a royal guard, and they also had REAL canon connections with Twilight Sparkle for friggin sake.

Why everybody keeps coming up with Flash Sentry? Wouldn’t Flash Magnus makes more sense, since he was a Pillar and royal guard captain after all before this future.

Headcanon: Flash Sentry trained Gallus as a Royal Guard. Flash Sentry is currently serving as Captain of the Guard for Princess Flurry Heart in the Crystal Empire.

How can one tell he’s Captain? His armor looks the same as any other, as does the helmet.
