Description
This is based off an unfinished episode idea by Lauren Faust (If this video is to believed. It’s a cool video, check it out.) I’d wanted to try designing deer for a while so this was my opportunity.
This is also why they are colorful and have cutie marks. From a conceptual standpoint, deer would have to be so similar to ponies that a pony would have no trouble believing he WAS one. This is like an early design from before we see how other hooved animals actually look. Except it’s not.
Tried vectoring show-accurate characters for the first time. First deer went great, by the last deer I was seriously reconsidering my decision. Vectors, how do they work?
