It’s supposed to be like a ‘shine’. Like the way a smooth, healthy leg has a bit of a reflection to it.
 
And I think it’s supposed to be red here to not only also look like a blush but to imply being ‘flush’ and like the skin has a pinkish undertone. I think it’s supposed to be more youthful.
 
But I associate it with weird loli porn that overemphasizes their childness to a disturbing degree.

What’s with the red on her legs? When I saw that in the thumbnail, I thought it was sores from abuse or something come to find the tags don’t support this.
