How, besides aesthetics he’s nothing like AJ, in fact his entire development was undone when he dropped his accent at the end.
 
Now that being said, that does not invalidate Rarity’s emotions. But Rarity had no interest to pursue a relationship at the end of the Cruse, then Ragamuffin ended his Act.
