I agree. They should consider doing something else than to just add in new male characters to “WOO” the main characters. It’s just an old and tired trope as to shovel in today’s hip culture AND IT NEEDS TO DIE.
Jack is Irish, this character was cockney which is an East London dialect :P Though the show did make him do an Irish jig for some reason… Because… British? :D I guess it’s a well-kept secret that the UK is more than one singular place XD

That’s kinda my point. People get triggered these days just by seeing a character from their ship having a slight interaction with another character in the background.
I ship Rarijack, but i wouldn’t throw a fit about it when i saw this scene. I would make a complete ass of myself, and like i sane person, nobody wants to make themselves look like an ass over something so minor.
Just like when Timber Spruce was introduced and all the Scitwishimmer fans got angry. Or just like in the previous short, when you can see Lyra dancing with some guy in the background, and people got triggered because “Lyrabon is OTP”.
It’s Rarity, he’s pretty safe.
