Description
Names- Timberland and Ozarka Brilliance
Series- United Ponies of America
State- Arkansas
Media- Ink and Prismacolored Pencils
Here’s the last of the “A” ponies of America hehe. The title comes from the State’s nickname, The Natural State. I had the pleasure of traveling to this state last year and it was very hilly and green. Definitely worthy of that nickname. Now I’ve visited all but 1 state surrounding Texas lol. (That last one is Oklahoma).
Timberland’s name relates to the state nickname. There were trees everywhere! So I went with a basic color scheme of using different greens and browns. His cutie mark are trees falling over.
Ozarka Brilliance’s name comes from 2 sources. First source is the word Ozark, more specifically the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. 2nd source relates to the State gem, the Diamond. The color scheme is inspired by the Blanchard Springs Caverns. There were awesome limestone formations from pictures I saw from whites to oranges to pinks. Her cutie mark is a quartz cluster. I have to say personally that Ozarka is one of my favorite OC pony designs because I haven’t done this kind of color scheme in awhile (if ever) and I LOVE her mane style! Plus I wanted to make her cute lol.
