I always assumed the reasoning behind the “written Equestrian” text was due to:
a)The fact that the EqG specials/shorts are translated into several different languages, and therefore
B)It would be time-consuming and expensive to create in-film text/signage matching each individual translation.
(BYW, if these ladies are your choices, the correct answer is always “Yes”.)
Not likely. It’s seriously a waste of effort to actually write out stuff that you’re only able to read if you pause and take screenshots. And if they did actually write out profiles, they’d just be there to be scrutinized by weirdos on some internet image board.

Pretty sure it’s not Aurebesh. Multiple glyphs in this image have no counterparts in Aurebesh. If anything, it looks more like Greek.
I’m sure we both know that, or I did at least. The cursive-like structure of the letters resembles Arabic though
@QueenChrysalisIsBestVillain
Arabic looks different and it’s written from right to left.
Apparently equestrian language exist in the human world?
But that doesn’t make any sense either, it’s clearly next to the “like” button on some kind of social media.
Its supposed to say “I got mail”
That’s exactly what I thought
I choose all of them.
Dammit beat me by one second
