Description
Lean, Mean, Fighting Machine… all three things are what this kitty isn’t. Baker by trade, this feline has gone far and wide to achieve a place in one of the prestigious bakeries in Equestria. That’s right, this gal is an Abyssinian. With cakes as fluffy as the ones she bakes, this lovable girl makes an entrance in the story series Ranchtown by Calico64, found here:

No. I just uploaded it there because it’s much easier and simplified to upload there. That and provides an easy way to get links to art I have.
You evidently haven’t read anything about the discussion in the comments before you commented.
Well, the thing about that is that the Abyssinian in the movie was an Anthro cat person as well. So, honestly, it is more canonically correct than Anthro ponies. Just my two cents.
You probably never saw many Abyssinian oc’s because most of the fandom grew in g4 and never paid much attention to any of the previous generations. As a result, there’s really only characters like Catrina; the villain from gen1 that are prominent in the archives
The primary difference is that pony anthros are distinctly MLP-inspired. However, if I saw this character without context, it just looks like any other cat anthro, and I wouldn’t make the connection to MLP. It doesn’t help that I don’t see many MLP cat/Abyssinian OCs around.
Please XD Tom would never draw anything like this. He deals with full furries, not a canonical furry species within a pony universe.
Abyssinians are supposed to be humanoid though. They’re the brand’s canonical anthro species. They’ve been with them since effectively day one, when the franchise first appeared… and they were even more human like.
Anthro ponies have more humanoid proportions to anything from the show too, but do you complain about that?
You probably do…
