I hope she returns in some kind of villain team-up and is considered the worst of them for her brains and manipulation skills alone.

Not just any chess piece. A Red Rook. In terms of symbolism the rook usually stands for a loyal servant and a red rook a sacrificial pawn. I fear Cozy will end up being used by Tirek no matter what plans of her own she has. She may be good at the game, but Tirek has been at it centuries longer than she, and like with any game there’s always someone better then you.

Her cutie mark is a chess piece. Even tho she things didn’t go the way she planned she probably has two or three backup plans and at least one of those being in tartarus.
