Well, I can see those two as villains. Tirek tried to conquer Equestria and drain all its magic, and Svengallop was a manipulative swine.
I’ll personally go with ‘these are the most evil versions of these characters from the multiverse’, which helps to explain why, say, Gloriosa is there.

Seriously everyone from Tirek to Svengallop is there.
I’m looking forward to the comic, but some of these villains seem kind of – lacking?
