Another OC of mine; Beetle Beat. This one took a long time to get right. She originally was going to have a musical element to her as well as blue colouring. Ultimately I focused on the earthy, bug side of her.
 
• Beetle Beat prefers to be alone to focus on studying bugs - beetles are her favourite.  
• She spends a lot of time either in or close to the Everfree Forest.  
• By tapping her hooves on the ground, Beetle can tempt most bugs out of hiding and can communicate with them to a certain extent.  
• Her beetle cutie mark also reflects immense strength, as she can haul heavy loads with ease.  
• She speaks very calmly and quietly, preferring to let her actions do the talking rather than her emotions.  
• She’s expressed interest in exploring a Changeling hive once she’s prepared.  
• Her favourite beetle is one she found as a filly and carries with her everywhere (pictured). Bonding with him helped her realise her talents and gave Beetle her cutie mark.
