Description
It seems the delivery van from EG:FF is heavily based on an actual van, well, I’d recognize this as the Transit Connect.

Translated in english:
*THE WHITE VAN! *
Given different angles, I would say that assets aren’t built directly on references. It becomes arduous to replicate if you use too much of the reference in the asset building.
I would say it’s more likely that one of the artists just enjoys the automotive hobby a bit and this individual volunteers to create vehicular assets. Especially given that the tour bus was probably written in script as a “hot rod” or some such thing.
Well, I mean, I would have doubted such things before, but after this… oh boy!
What’s next? Advertising toys???
Could be. Could also be that it’s easier to build assets right on top of references. I’m not really qualified to say.
Stylistically altered for reasons, but yup.
The Rainboom Tour Bus is based on an old International Harvester school bus from the 1930’s. Someone at DHX likes drawing cars, it seems.
