I feel like people fail to remember that Rarity isn’t just generous, she’s a huge people-pleaser and wants to be considerate to everyone’s feelings. So I think that’s a trait type thing that Clarity would inherit as a result. Mother’s day is coming up or something so I just thought, what kinda mother’s day art is going to be on DA… NONE! I was just rollin’ around my friend’s pages and then Clarity and the rest of the next gen came to mind and then this happened.
 
So Clarity wanted to give her mom something nice for mother’s day and made this necklace and the gems placed on it were placed accordingly with colors that are associated with everyone in her family. On the right we have Clarie, the left you have T, the top is Spike, and the bottom centre area is Rarity. I feel bad for not using the original outfit design or what there was of it, for this but I wanted to test out some things. This was amusing to make it has no real relation, story wise to anything about Clarity. It’s like a head-cannon thing for me but featuring someone else’s wonderful character.
 
Almost like a little present for my friend, kilala97 lol…. working with gradients (I used one to shade clarie’s hair) is a nightmare, avoid it at all costs.
