Artist’s Description:
You know what I need =3
And one more color sketch just for mood)Actually the idea is a sketch of one case from my life:
I think everyone knows that honey is a real magnet for bees/bumblebees and wasps. So one time, when I ate honey (like a bear) a huge hornet landed right on my arm and sat on it for a while.
The fact is that I’m very afraid of hornets and for this it was a very memorable moment^^P.s. If you ever will be in similar case just don’t move, he will leave^^
I got what you were saying, dude. I was making a joke.
This is what I mean.
Getting away from all the horses? You’re on the wrong website for that.
suzumebachi aren’t furry and have orange heads.
Agreed
All in the drawing. And when you have this be showing it’s stinger out and looking angry… Well if I didn’t see the “heart” I’d assume that hornet was going to impale Flutters for stealing honey.
@Background Pony #A7ED
It’ll end up as a cash mount like the other cool looking mounts.
Don’t think you can, I’ve heard its only used by a particular flight master.
Wish it was a mount, maybe get away from all the damn horses.
When and where can I get this mount?
I mean, the artist is a WoW fan, so it’s not entirely wrong to say that there might be some influence.
No. WoW has literally nothing to do with this picture.
I hate puns, they make me break out in hives
but
HORNY HORNET
yeah, but there’s a distinct difference. Some of the literature I saw stated the setae as the main difference to look for when comparing the two.
@Meanlucario
Fair enough, although hornets can get pretty fuzzy too.
Not as much as bees, but still not hairless.
@Frustration in Excelsis
Right, sorry about not putting the description in at first. I tagged it as hornet due to the artist’s anecdote, but after some light entomological research, Meanlucario seems to be right due to the furry coat.
The tags are fixed if that’s the case, through I think it’s a bit too fuzzy for a hornet.
