Nah, making her traitorous children hideous didn’t make Chrysalis any cuter; Chrysalis has been cute ever since A Canterlot Wedding.

The queen is always either a good one who dies or the villain/stepmother. I think that’s why the “heroes” are most of the time princesses.

I wrote my comment before this one and after this one. I hadn’t seen any of the others.
Novo appeared in Canterlot and hugged Celestia. In a way,she counts despite the distance between her people and the actual center of the continent.
And like @soundtea said,Chrysalis hasn’t held the queen title since season 6.
Steven Magnet is an odd choice. The seapony though shows a certain personality that wins me in the end

Hell, Chrysalis isnt even a queen at all anymore since she got ousted from her entire race. She has nothing. So in the end there isnt a single queen in Equestria.
