…Man?
I would say redeem Sky but….No…Just no. Considering he killed Derpy’s lover because of some stupid misguided racism he bore because he couldn’t accept his sister had accepted werewolves/vampires/ectect, yeah someone better get him some karma.
He fucked up.
Or maybe it’s just a different line of thought. Instead of “X % of group Y aren’t evil” for Sky it’s the other way around: “X % of group Y are evil, therefore anyone from group Y could be evil. The only way to be safe is getting rid of group Y.”
yeah, and if he actually observed them for a few years like derpy did, then he could have totally caught them in all the many times they secretly preyed on ponykind, while pretending to be peaceful.
really the only difference between him and derpy is he wasn’t forced to learn the truth by living with them. it is willful ignorance, but it’s still ignorance.
oh and also he can’t get pregnant.
Actually, Sky and the other Dawn Crusaders “know” the peaceful monsters exist, they just think it’s a deception to make it easier to prey on ponykind.
he didn’t know they were living peacefully, but he should have. princess celestia sanctioned derpy’s watch over the town for enough years for her to fall in love, get married, and get pregnant, and he knows only vampires have the power to meserize and enthrall, not werewolves. sometimes, people are so afraid that they’ll have to admit they killed innocents, that they’ll hide from the truth even if it’s in plain sight. and that only causes worse suffering, making it even harder to admit their guilt, until they’re put down like abused dogs gone feral with rage. (him, not the werewolves)
I dunno if I could call him racist, since werewolves truly are a dangerous threat with their fearsome power and loss of control. he’s not just lying about them being a threat so he can have an excuse to exploit them. but it’s true they were managing to live in peace, so there was a better solution to dealing with their threat than extermination, a solution that he refused to see. that seems pretty racist. so I dunno. definitely a douchebag though.
all I know is I’ve never been more excited to see how this story’s gonna turn out. ♥ normally I hate spoopy vampire vs werewolf edward emocut stories, but this is some castlevania level storytelling.
The problem is that he’s NOT targeting those who are a threat. His major victims here were an entire village of werewolves who were living peacefully, and now a filly, his own niece no less, who probably didn’t even know she was one until tonight.
So no, he’s a racist douchebag who will hopefully be getting what’s coming to him very soon.
Yes, he’s violent and quite hateful toward things like werewolves and the like. He’s also spent his life seeing how dangerous they can be and even had his parents outright murdered by them.
He’s a villain, there really isn’t any way to dispute that, but given he’s targeting those who pose a significant threat towards Ponies in this setting. Really, the only difference between him killing werewolves here and Vinyl killing vampires in the earlier story arc (or the bounty system that allows Vampires, Werewolves, etc. to feed) is that he’s not being shown in a sympathetic light.
he murdered his sisters husband, put his head on a wooden spike outside of there own house, and still thought he deserved sister privileges, and is now going to kill her daughter for being related to them, a racist douchebag. its like if even the Nazi’s hated hitler,
it will be very hard to think of something more douchey than him.
I’m honestly starting to wonder if that’s something that the author intended with Sky. His position isn’t exactly one that’s entirely indefensible, even if he’s taking to too far.
I don’t think anything could drive his point home more than derpy having to take down her own daughter.
then derpy’s like “oh my god. this is her fifth birthday all over again,” and pulls out the spray bottle.

…
I’m done arguing with you on this. It’s clear you do not, and cannot, understand this, so I’m just going to stop before it gets out of hand.
@Dark Tail
Except she just proved, in Sky’s eyes, that he was right about her and the rest all along.
Edited
Unless it was to vindicate himself, which, sadly, is what just happened. Even if he dies, he’s now gonna go triumphant, knowing he was right, even though he’s wrong.
Sky,“What?”
Dinky,“I’M GONNA SKULL F||yay|| YOU!”
And he’ll be getting one, to be sure.
probably doing jack all, like usual.
